The BMW M1 - Procar Series
In collaboration with Bernie Ecclestone and Max Mosley the Procar Series was created.
The Procar Series was a series of races in the framework of the Formula 1 race in the years 1979 and 1980.
Entered in the Procar Series, the five fastest F1 drivers from the training sessions with factory cars of the BMW M1 against selected private driver of that vehicle to.
The available vehicles of this type (with different engines) in this series were always 345 kW/470 hp and were technically identical.

BMW M3 History

BMW 635 csi History
Between 1981 and 1986, the BMW 635 CSi coupe won three European Championship titles.
