The BMW M1 - Procar Series

In collaboration with Bernie Ecclestone and Max Mosley the Procar Series was created.

The Procar Series was a series of races in the framework of the Formula 1 race in the years 1979 and 1980.

Entered in the Procar Series, the five fastest F1 drivers from the training sessions with factory cars of the BMW M1 against selected private driver of that vehicle to.

BMW 635 csi History

Between 1981 and 1986, the BMW 635 CSi coupe won three European Championship titles.

The highlight successful applications in the last year of the 3.5-liter model: Roberto Ravaglia celebrating for the BMW Team Schnitzer, not only the European Championship title, but is victorious even in the 24-hours of Spa-Francorchamps.

In any case, the BMW 635 CSi coupe, ancestor of today's BMW M6, feels good on long-haul routes.

Besides Ravaglias Spa won in 1986, the coupe triumphed twice more in the Ardennes.
